Call Governors Office/Show support for HB0962

They seem to be keeping a running total. Call the Governors office and tell them you'd like for the Governor to support and sign HB0962. It'd be good to have more calling in favor than opposing it.

Give Bredeson a ring...

(Sorry if this is mentioned somewhere else, only got a minute to post and no time to check into it)

Email sent, demanding signature. I'm sure he's shaking in his boots...

A signature shows support.

A 'no-signature' shows the typical fence-rider.

A veto shows that he's a foe.

Hey, at least we'd know...

My guess is that it won't be a problem that is posted in at least 2 other threads, but the info is part of related discussions, not this issue directly. If having it in multiple posts and one that is specifically talking about calling/emailing the governor and it causes everyone to read this and call/email regarding this very important issue, then great. But I am just some one who hangs out here...alot :D

The call took less than a minute, I just said I would like the Gov to support this important issue (mentioned by Bill number HB0962 and Restaurant Carry), as a permit holder, I believe in this legislation and would like him to as well. She said thanks, and that was it.

I have done this. You have 2 choices, phone and email.

I called today and told them I support the Restaurant Carry Bill and I hope Bredesen will sign it. They did not ask me anything, they just said okay and thanks. Keep calling guys.....it may make a huge impact. However, my guess is....Bredesen will NOT sign it. I bet he just lets it sit there and become law without and actual signature. I personally don't think he will veto it because if he does he is going to make more than a few people not happy with him and those are "voters" so I don't think he will go that route. I also don't think he will sign it for the same reason. He does not want to anger the democrats. It most likely will just fall into law for June 1st. That is going to be a "Great Day in Tennessee."

Did it this morning. No muss, no fuss, no excuse not to.

I emailed yesterday and just got off the phone now.

I wonder why everytime I call he is never available for me to speak with????

At any rate I left a message for him with my return phone number. I will crap my pants if he calls, and boy will I have a thing or two to say :D

the call itself didnot take 30 seconds, everyone needs to light up the phone line.

Emailed last night and called this morning.

Don't forget to tell anyone you know that will make the call in support. They don't have to be a HCP holder, nor a member here, just needs to be a supporter.

Even if he does veto, there are enough votes to override his veto. I'm sure he is aware of that.

I emailed yesterday but didn't get a chance to call until 5:15 this evening. I received the voicemail box and I left a message.

Wouldn't it be great to fill up the voicemail box with pro-HB0962 messages?

When my wife called on Friday, she got into a nice little conversation with the lady that answers Phil's phone, and she told my wife most of the calls were PRO signing the bill.

Keep it up guys. :P

Just called and left a message of support for HB0962, and asked for him to show his support by signing.
