Sen Armstrong: Telling the story from the Call from our own member, Nicole Gozzert story, in another thread

I think that was Doug Jackson telling the story, wasn't it?

Yes it was.

Focus turns to the Governor now.

Time for Doug Henry to go. He was one of the no's. He represents my district and I'll do all that I can to retire him!

Yep, earlier I'd said that the normal order was consent, regular and then the message calendar. Sen. Jackson called it up out of order after they did the consent calendar.

Thank you for the play by play, Howard Cosell, I mean db99wj!

Not that I mean any offense, but I sure was hoping you were wrong! Gotta love out of order, it would have been hell to wait 43 bills before it!

Thank you for the play by play, Howard Cosell, I mean db99wj!

A special thanks to all of you who have kept us informed and up to date on this issue as well as motivated the masses to call and write our elected officials. Also, a heart felt thanks to Nikki Goeser for her actions in getting her story out. IMHO, this bill ought to be called the Benjamin Felix Goeser act. Hopefully if a situation arises similar to her and Ben's, the law abiding citizen will as Nikki put it "at least have a chance".

He's mine too. He's a crazy old fool. He was an embarrassment last time this issue was discussed and all he could talk about were the honky-tonks downtown and getting loaded to forget the worries of the day.

And the vote is...... 24 yes, 7 no

And with this, I'd like to officially apologize to the members of the House for all those thoughts I had about them somehow, someway, screwing us over.

Hopefully the gov won't pull a Kaine on us. Though it seems we have the votes that Virginia didn't, I really don't want to see this delayed.

With that said, do we have a list of the "7"?

Well.....it's not 100% done yet.... :woohoo::tinfoil::tinfoil:

Beat me to it. :usa:

Okay, I want to start out with an apology to Sen. Jackson. There's a reason he's a Senator and I'm not. He's good at building consensus and getting things done. I'm good at alienating people and pissing them off. We all have our talents. ;)
