Drivers and their stupid behavior during this flood

Recommended Posts

We have had drivers in my area move barriers and drive through high water and then having their cars ingest water into their engines. Then their engines seize. The driver then learns the rules of hydrodynamics and how water and most fluids don't compress ending up in broken and bent connecting rods. Then we have had drivers drive up to barriers and then they drive through people's yards to go around the barriers and high water. This ends up destroying people's yards. The selfishness and stupidity has never reached a high like it has during this flood. I have seen a lot during my years and this tops how rude , inconsiderate , selfish , and dangerous people have become. Sadly this is a whole new generation and it is sad. I just had to vent. Their is nothing important or urgent enough to drive through high water risking your life and then getting screwed up causing Emregency personnel to risk their lives to rescue you when you should have just not gone through the water to begin with !

I believe that we have a lot of people that think they are the only ones that are important-

It's really become like I tell my wife the era of ME-ME-ME-

I don't know if narcissism is to blame or if the age of the everyone gets a trophy is taking place-

I see young men riding dirt bikes through peoples yards and think nothing of it-they park in our streets 2 deep and make us drive around their nonsensense-

So I am not sure what you are seeing is any different elsewhere-

And if you happen to call them on their behavior, you are made to look like you're the bad one-

The reason I live on a farm in Westpoint.  I just don’t have the patience for them these days.  I hate to even go to Lawrenceburg anymore.  Most times when I do I meet someone across the line texting.  I think we live in the best place in the world but it is sinking I am afraid.
