My dad had a bunch of the Sgt Fury comics and left them at my grandparents from when he was a kid. I read a ton of them when I got old enough. Loved them. They ended up using him later in as Nick Fury.

That's one checkpoint I sure as hell don't want to drive through.

Gray hair is the last thing you want to see when rolling up to a check point.

Not the gray hair, I've seen all three of those gentlemen shoot. Gunslinger and Mark are excellent shots. Mike could probably hit someone my size from twenty five feet away, especially if he didn't realize what the recoil would be on that Garand. (He generally just shoots itty bitty .25's, so that he doesn't hurt his limp wrist.) :hat:

As far as gunslinger707 and Mark, I'd want plenty of rocks, trees, and camoflauge between me and them, as well as some good cover.

I am sure that they can all shoot, I wouldn't want any of them proving it to me while I tried to duck and cover... in my experience with check points you usually spend more time any money trying to get through the ones that look like this.:hat:

SUNTZU you are safe at twenty feet if I have the .25. Heck even if I hit you someone would need to tell you about it.

I don't want to be sighted in by anyone with a Garand.

The roadblock pic is a classic. I need to print it out and get a frame.

If gray hair is a qualifer all three of us had it covered, :)

Nice pics! Where did you guys meet up at, Cherokee? I have a few Garands and carbines myself. I live not far away in JC.
