Making space for a Beryl before they go out of production for good. This is the gun that got me into AKs. Purchased from another member who babied it, I fired 500 rounds for a total of 1-2K rounds.

Overall, this rifle is clean inside and out with minimal wear and brand new furniture. I have used athletic tape, foam, and the original upper handguard to create a riser on the stock, which is easily removed.

The 3-9 scope is excellent and the illumination is bright. Holds zero with 7.62x39. Modern optics are a little better but this reproduction is really fun at the range. MSRP on this hard-to-find scope is $300. $250 discount if you don’t want it. 

As a Yugo AK, some parts (like furniture) are proprietary. On the flipside, the fit and finish is fantastic and there are some unique features like the dust-cover latch. Bolt is butter smooth. The M70 has served as a frontline rifle in Eastern Europe for decades.
