New 6 Pack (case)

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I finally got a new case to hold 6 guns at a time.

The guy I bought this new from is just now starting his bussiness and they are made very close to the Pelican.

I really like the way it is made and it is water and dust proof. I havent done it (YET) but I feel like I could drive my truck over it.

Ok I called Doug:

This is the info he sent me in a email and I will post it as he sent it to me.

I'll give you this link Custom Case Designs, Your tagline here this is my web site in it's semi-ready stages. It's a bit raw (I need better photos) and skeletonish and we'll be adding several products and what-not but it does give a decent over-view of the various pistol cases we have and some pricing. Some of the cases (the double-stacks in particular) are so open to design and interpretation that I'll have to quote them verbally and go from there. The others should be fairly dialed in. I'm still working with my web guy to iron out a few more flaws and glitches before I light the thing up. If anyone has any questions they can email me at info@customcasedesigns.com and I'll be happy to answer them. Also my cell number is 406.698.8650 - it's a bit hit or miss depending on the day and the noise but I always return calls. One more thought - if people are looking at my site tell them that the shipping hasn't been plugged in yet. I don't want them to thing I'm a crook. Also we've got some pistol racks that are very cost effective and I think people will really like them for a simple way to organize their safes and displays.

Tell Him Jeff sent you It might save you a few bucks or it could add a few.....LOL

WOOOOHA!

$200+ is a bit more than I'm willing to pay for a case that will only be used to transport a few pistols to the range and back.

That does appear to be a very nice case, but a bit too rich for my blood.

+1 The price point doesn't seem much better (if at all) for some of the better prices for Pelican cases I've found, and with Pelican, I know what I'm getting and what to expect. The laptop cases interested me, but they seem about 15% to 20% more than I've found for Pelican. They look like great cases, and may well be worth it, but if you can't put your hands on them and compare them next to a product you recognize, I wouldn't be able to spend the same or more.

I'm still kicking myself for missing out on a sale for a two rifle Pelican case for $119.00

My case was 140$ Still might be high for some.

Your looking at a diffrent one that has wheels and a slide out pull handle I think.

But you get what you pay for. Plus he will do custom work.

6 guns at one time that are kept very safe is better than 6 diffrent factory cases or a soft range case.
