So for the last few months I’ve been working towards a production manager job at work, and in Late January it became all but imminent that as long as I didn’t screw the pooch it would be mine when it opened up. So to celebrate the fact I went ahead and put in a call to American Classic Gunleather for a BBQ rig to go with the classy N frame I had for it. The gun is a 25-5 4” smith in .45 Colt wearing Culina Claro Walnut grips, and the leather is American Classic Gunleather legend Holster, with a full floral carved belt and 6 round slide to match. I couldn’t be more ecstatic at how they turned out and they showed up on the same day as my final interview for the position. So Cheers to all of you on this fine Saturday!

Stylin'.  If you wear that out in public, you'd better take a stick with you, as you going to need to keep the ladies off of you.

All joking aside, that is some quality work your wearing.  I hope it serves you well.  Nice to treat ourselves once in a while.

Man that's a beauty!!😲

It’s some of the best looking leather I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot considering the other holsters I have for this gun are a Gator Skin Simply Rugged and an El Paso Saddlery

What happen to the previous PM for the position to open up?

He promoted to plant manager. We both changed to a different division of the company in October of last year, he came over as assembly manager and I can over as a supervisor after they fired the previous plant manager and a couple supervisors in September for lying about product numbers. He moved up to plant manager in February which opened up his job and I started filling that role then, waiting in the dust to settle for the job to actually get posted and now it’s clenched

We have a couple things in common, I've been a Production Manager for the past 28yrs, the marine industry is hell.

It damn sure can be. I started as an engine installer on the rigging line 10 years ago and moved up through team lead into supervisor. I’ve supervised in rigging, final finish and holecuts before moving to my current role of assisting all 3 Assembly supervisors

Shades of the old time Texas Ranger rigs..  I love this setup.   Congratulations on your heirloom leather... that's exactly what it is...

Congrats on both Spots. $64.000 question, well 2.

1) Have done the Wally World walk with your new rig?😚

2) Can you carry at work, the new rig or concealed?🤪

#1 I haven’t made it to Wally World yet as I generally avoid that place like the plague if at all possible. I did wear it fishing for a few hours and made an evening run to Food City with it. Oliver Springs is a pretty small town so an open carried pistol is more likely to get comments on brand or the leather than anything negative

#2 The rule book says no firearms or weapons may be carried on work premises and since I would never break the rules I, like everyone else there, depend on the $12 an hour contracted, unarmed security guard at the gate to keep me safe from harm.

My work has that same rule, but we don't even have an unarmed security guard. I can't tell you if there is a sign on the doors or not...I don't recall every looking for one.

We don’t have a sign except the front door and I don’t ever come through the front lol. My main concern is always a pissed off former employee so all the supervisors and managers are usually a little more on edge after we walk one out. The majority of us take our safety very seriously
