Concrete and Asphalt Work

Have you used a contractor in the Nashville/Hendersonville area for asphalt or concrete work?

Please tell me about your experience.  Thanks for anything you can share.

I'm looking to have some driveway and patio work done at the house and I'd be grateful for firsthand info from folks who've "been there, done that."

About 4 years ago I had a 2 car concrete parking pad poured by Lanier Masonry and Concrete. I knew the owner, but its smaller family-owned business and I trust him.

How far out do they do their work?   I have a house out in Waverly that needs some cement work.

He is based out of Nashville, but I believe he and his crew will travel but don't know the distance or if there is a minimum job amount for travelling beyond a certain distance.

I have been doing traffic control for Roy T. Goodwin contractors out of Nashville for 12 years now on my days off. They do great work and quality jobs. I'm not sure if they do small jobs like driveways but it's worth a check.

I have a nice big barn but it sits on a slab that is about 6 to 8" above the ground, I need to build a run up to it.    On the back side I'm going to need more, as it is about 16" above ground there.

Thanks to all who have posted in this thread.  I have Lanier Concrete coming out in a few days to give me a quote, and I'll get in touch with Roy Goodwin this week.
