Lucy Grace really let herself go.  She needs to go to the beauty parlor or something.

The protest in Bartlett did happen. Channel 5 did all of about 2-3 minutes on it. A crowd of maybe 40 protesters. But there were also pro-Trump counter protesters there as well. Anyway, all went peacefully and nothing changed.

I would post a link but, Channel 5 hasn't even bothered to post the story on their website as of yet. 🙄

Not sure it would have went so peaceful here in Nashville, particularly East Nashville. I saw a post on an East Nashville Facebook page that included a picture.  That post wasn’t too bad, but many of the following comments got pretty bad.  I know many people, maybe most people are all talk, but they were calling for actual violence against Trump supporters and ‘Nazis’ that support Elon Musk.  I copied a picture from the original post and have. Question because I don’t understand the significance of the object defaced by graffiti, if there is one.  Can anyone enlighten me?

Yes. It was a protest turned riot. But if we compare and contrast with any of the riots that roared throughout the entire 2020 Summer of Love, it was a very minor one in terms of injuries, deaths, and property damage.

“Conservatives” overran the Capitol building of the United States of America.  Great big difference and one that libs will throw out from now until the end of time when their little demonstrations or tantrums are criticized.

What do we think about sending these protesters/vandals to El Salvador prisons?

For destroying private property? Shoot em on site for all I care. If we no longer have rule of law, our country is lost.

I’ll save you a post. I don’t care if they’re destroying an abortion clinic. My opinion doesn’t change.

And when they or anyone else does, I’ll laugh at them for calling it an “insurrection”.

Was it wrong? Yeah. But it’s silly to claim that it was substantively worse than sustained nightly attacks on cities during the previous summer. There was a months long nightly siege of federal buildings like the federal courthouse in Portland where they repeatedly attempted to burn it down with people inside of it. They set fire to St. John’s Episcopal AKA “America’s Church” across the street from the white house. So no, I’ve never gotten too worked up about what was mostly an unguided tour where the only person who died was shot by Capitol Police.

I'm getting really tired of both sides cherry picking examples to prove that their side is less violent or extreme than the other. There are PLENTY of examples of each side acting like idiots. Party politics is destroying the country. Those that repeatedly engage in it, and blindly support their leader, are part of the problem.

I recorded the channel 13 news. They had the story and gave it an entire 1minute 23 seconds. Channel 3 at 10:00 didn't even report it. So pretty much a non-event.

I had every intention of going to check out the protest in Franklin yesterday, but I got stuck working on the house all day and Just didn’t get out that way.  😞  I really wanted to go see the big nothing burger, I would suspect it was less than a dozen people.

I was reading that there is a much bigger group that is trying to protest nationwide next weekend, at EVERY Tesla dealership.  I’m sure that in CA there were be some major carnage but I don’t know if there will be here in TN, I hope not.

I agree with Trump that this is straight up terrorism.

They are already doing this. I don't remember who it was but he was asked more than once about this and all he could do was pivot to Jan 6 instead of answering the question. Evading the question is one of most politicians greatest skills.

I think we may be to the point that it’s gotten more attention here than just about anywhere else.

Vandalism and destruction of Tesla vehicles and assaults on Tesla vehicle owners is getting a lot of news attention outside of TGO.

Oh. Agreed.

Just seems like the one in Memphis was a complete dud.

i think the group organizing it would like it to be a way bigger deal than it actually seems to be.

Folks like to talk smack about Memphis and it being a leftist hive in the state. There is some amount of truth to that, however, Memphis is not Portland, Seattle, or NYC. They don’t go for that “burn down our own home” crap. Didn’t do it in 2020, ain’t gonna do it now.

Since DataRepublican found out about all the Federal money being sent to liberal organizations, and DOGE put a stop to a lot of those money transfers, there hasn't been as much money to hire protesters and bus them around the country.

They also had to send a bunch out to Denver to make a good showing for Bernie and OC. That's a pair right there. lol When the resources dry up you have t be selective about where the money is spent.
