New to me S&W 1911PD

It's on the way. Tuesday I'm told. Why isn't it Tuesday yet? This is my first 1911 in several years. My last 1911 I traded off and just about the time I got home... I wish I hadn't. Sometimes I think I'm a little on the side. Oh well... Can't wait till Tuesday.. :D

That's a good looking handgun. I really like the grips! One thing you may find yourself wanting to do is order a Wilson trigger and have it hand-fitted to the frame. For some reason, Smith & Wesson triggers just flop around like crazy in the frames. Other than that, I really like them. Came close to buying one again recently.

The wait is finally over. Now to the range with it.

David was right about the triger. I'll probably have that replaced at some point. So far tho.. I love it!

Yeah.. It came with the originals too. I kinda like these tho. Not sure how practical they are just yet but we'll see.
