Makes me wonder how much recoil it would have in a rifle let alone a pistol. Never shot a 10 MM of any kind. Wondering if it has a l much recoil. I have fired 44 Mag rifles and survived quiet well.

Had a 44 mag SW revolver but gave to my grandson in Mt Pleasant S C.

FBI agents couldn't handle it in pistol form. I have had pistol caliber carbines and still have a 38 Spl 357 Mag Henry lever gun and a 40 cal Ruger rifle on hand. Just plinking guns for me.

If I had to grab a rifle it would be the AR 15, at this time.

I recently rented a Glock 29 Gen 4 10mm Compact. The recoil wasn't any worse than my compact .45. The challenge is getting back on target quickly due to muzzle flip.

Price on the 10mm S&W 4 inch is favorable and with the rebate they have going on through April makes it very tempting.

I recently bought an FN 510 Tactical. Recoil is less than a 40 caliber Taurus I used to have. I watched lots of videos before buying a 10 mm and most agreed that recoil on the FN is less than most. The reviews on the S&W were good as well, I almost purchased one of those.

I have a Glock 20 and the recoil is manageable.  Depends on the ammo—hot loads can drive the gun into your hand more and the muzzle flip could be higher than smaller calibers. 10mm can remind you of the importance of correct grip and stance.

I got a Glock 20, recoil ain’t bad. Like phiferran said depends on the ammo. Most target loads aren’t hot at all.I have a bunch HP’s to load when I get time.
