Anyone considering the RFB (Rifle, Foward ejection Bullpup). These look pretty interesting, and they are certainly compact for an 18" barreled .308.

I'm pretty excited about it. It seems like Keltec really did it right. I don't want to be sly, but I might add, "this time," to the previous sentence. I guess Keltec always made weapons that worked (and cheap is appreciated), but this RFB _really_ seems to be done right. I've got my dealer hunting for one for me. $1400.

PS: I should add that I went bullpup over the proven FAL or M1A because I want to put my suppressor on it when I get out of this state (CA).

Yeah, there were a couple of threads discussing them a while back. I want a 6.8 real bad. I heard they changed the quick change barrel for cost reasons and made a few other tweaks, but all in all I want one!

I wish i could get one in 7.62x39!

I like them, but I think I'll wait a little while until Ruger rips off their design and buy it instead. Then when they recall it I can get a free mag and hat!:D

I don't think we will have to worry about Ruger ripping off the RFB. They just recently started offering "high capacity" 20 round mags with their Mini 14 "NRA" edition.

They make arms for "Responsible Citizens", and apparently those of us who like the evil high capacity semi auto rifles are not responsible enough for them. It really surprises me that they offer hi cap mags with their "civillian" handguns.

Bill Ruger did not like the idea of non law enforcement & military folks having EBR's, and that is why I have not purchased another Ruger firearm since that information became known to me. Same for Cooper, or any other company that feels that we citizens should not exercize our 2nd amendment rights.

+1 about Colt too!

Colt is another one off my list.

It is too bad that more firearms manufacturers don't have the same attitude about civilian sales as Ronnie Barrett.

I have an interest in one, but won't know for sure until I get to fondle one.

Isn't that the tough part though! I almost feel like I'm part of some underground, liking guns, and I'm in the military! (OK, the Air Force, but still...) It's hard to actually _see_ some of these things.

I thought Keltec had intended to make the RFB in other calibers, and I hope they do.

I was planning to wait a year or two (not buy v1.0), but frankly, I'm worried it might not be legal by then. I hope I'm wrong.

I got excited about it three years ago when it was announced, and then, after stalling for six months, I gave up and purchased an M1A. Been happy with that, so I probably will not start looking at the RFB until I seem some accuracy statistics for it out of a 20" barrel - might be nice and compact for Boomershoot.
