email notifications working?

I’ve had a couple PM’s that didn’t generate notifications via email. Verified email settings are active.

Anyone else notice any email notification problems the last day or so?

I am not getting notifications either. The ones I am referring to are when for sale items are posted. Not getting those the last couple of days.

I’ve got follow on and didn’t get notice of your reply. 

Using Gmail or other service? Not sure of out matters but mine is Gmail.

It's not 100% yet but it's better than it was.  Will try to get a better fix in place over the next week.

Why would anyone want email notifications?  I get enough emails already. Anytime you log in it tells you what notifications you have at the top of the page.

I have it set to get emails when a new member posts in the new member thread so I can respond and also when a new firearm or accessory is offered for sale so I can feed my addiction.

The most important one imo would be knowing you have PM’s, they can be time sensitive.  Not everyone is the forum daily

A couple month’s ago Fujimo pounced on that $250 G21 the same minute it was posted.

I was wonderin. Now I have the image of him reading the notification, spitting out his coffee as he rushed to the keyboard.

That's pretty much how it works. The addiction requires cat like reflexes on a moments notice.

That’s why I have the notifications sent to my watch. I can see what is posted for sale no matter where my phone is.

Well when it comes down to it - FUJIMO is not like the rest of us. He has ascended to a higher plane of existence. I have been working to attain such a level, alas.........he says I need to study more to reach his level. But I can't read...so.....here I sit.

Real time gives me some hope!

But It feels more like you know when someone plans to sell too cheap and when they’ll post it…before it happens, leaving no chance.
