Starting on Monday, March 31, 2025, members of Tennessee Gun Owners will be required to login using the email address that you registered with.  You will not be able to login using your display name. 
 

If you are not sure what email address you used when creating your account, you can find it here:  ➡️ Settings > Overview

If you want to change your email address, you can do that here:  ➡️ Settings > Email Address

 

Why Is This Happening?

The ability to log in using display names will be removed in a future version of our forum software.

Allowing members to log in with a display name can represent a security weakness for our community because display names are public information.  Malicious users may attempt to login to multiple accounts with common passwords until they find an account for which the passwords work.
