That would be a pretty wide range depending on what user picks out from the large selection of S&W slides out there. Not to mention if you get one new, take-off, or used. 

I’d say $150 for the basic non optic cut 3.1” up to $650 for the 4” carry comp optic cut. example, on ebay right now you can get a new smith 3.1” barrel for $62, stripped slide for $90. A used nice complete slide with Crimson trace for $250. That’s without really looking so I am sure they can be had cheaper

The skew on this gun is $629 with best online price @ $569 if that reference helps. This gives you the improved lower at a pretty good deal compared to the regular Shield with room to play, mix and match.
