Picked one of these up yesterday in .40 S&W to add to the sub-compact collection. Haven't shot it yet, but it feels nice and solid. The magazine release will take a little getting used to (it's an ambi). I'm actually using my pointer finger on the right side to release it vs the traditional thumb release on the left.

I'll post some pictures later today (probably after work) for those that like the gun porn. Hopefully I'll get to shoot it this weekend. My parents are in town for Mother's Day (don't forget the cards/flowers/etc fellas). Maybe I can get them to watch the little one and let me sneak off for an hour...

I actually kept going back and forth b/t the USP and the P2000, but they had sold the USP so that helped make up my mind. Can't wait to shoot it, everything I've heard has been positive...

Thank ya, thank ya! Still haven't gotten to the range.

Let us know what you think about the trigger. I traded a P2000 because the trigger was less than desireable.

I really wanted to like my P2000 but I couldn't get used to the LEM or the standard DA/SA trigger. I'm sure it's just a personal preference thing but it was a deal breaker for me.

i had a the full size in 9mm... good gun, but got rid of it because the slide release was exactly where my thumb liked to be.

Just got back from the range, shot 100 rounds. I love it, the LEM trigger doesn't bother me at all (I've got several other pistols with a trigger action similar to this), but I totally understand it's a personal preference.

I was very accurate with it, especially compared to my SIG P226 in .40 S&W. Shot rounds at 5/10/15 yrds @ torso and head. The gun felt very solid, and I had no FTF's (Fire or Feed).

I'm very pleased with the performace of this gun, and it will get a lot of use at the range and as my main carry weapon.

I own the p2000sk V3 (SA\DA) in .40 caliber. The trigger is around 11 pounds single action. Can be rough for some shooters to get used to. I tried to run malfunction drills by loading an empty casing below a live casing. Every time I fire the live casing, the empty one chambers just fine. The only way I can get it to jam is by purposefully setting up a double feed.

However, I am going to be getting rid of mine very soon since Crimson Trace does not make grips for this gun. If it were not for that little fact then it would be a permanent addition to my collection.

I love the LEM trigger on the USP-C but the reset on the P2000 seems like it took forever. I'm a HK fan, just couldn't get used to the reset.

I don't think you'll have any reliability problems. I never have with the thousands of round I have put through them. They will eat anything.

Enjoy........
