I have been just about everywhere is week looking for 9mm ammo for pratice, and have not had any luck. Do you know of where I might find some?

I have made the daily calls to the local dealers, nothing so far this week.

Thanks

I saw that Palmetto State Armory had Brown Bear in stock for $115 per 500. Not the best price, but its in stock. I usually just wait until I can find Blazer Brass at WM, which may be a bit easier now w/ the 6 box limit.

Call or go to local walmart and ask the sporting goods person, When their truck comes in. Just call after the truck comes in, and be ready to go get it.

The walmart on Chapman Hwy gets their truck at 5 oclock. The guy told me to call at about 6:30 everyday , And I did at that time they were getting a bunch of 9mm. They will work with you if you will talk with them.

Actually the BB at 11.50 a box isn't bad given todays prices. I have shot this stuff before and it's not bad.

It is frustrating.

There are a few online site that sporadically have 9mm in. It's not inexpensive, but 9mm is challenging to come by, to put it mildly.;)

"Ammunition to go" has Fiocchi 147 gr 9mm for $29.95/50 rds as I type this.

I tend to miss the shipments that make it to wallyworld.

I check several websites, at least every other day. The ammo that arrives is generally sold out in 8-10 hours.

Cabela's and SG list that they will have some in the next month or so.

I do have some on backorder with a few vendors, and I tend to get deliveries periodically. This may be an option for you.

Fortunately (or unfortunately) I reload... primers are as hard to find as 9mm ammo is.:tough:

Good Luck!

Please read "My Secrets to finding practice ammo" on the ammo site. I can't guarantee it, but I do hope it will help you!

I was able to get 200 rounds yesterday at Gunny's, PMC $19 a box. That was the first time I had been there, I really like the guys there, my kind of gun shop. I still have a box of Reminton, Speer, American Eagle, PMC and 50 round of quality Reloads, so I could do a little target shooting. I am still trying the Walmarts, I am not trying to be greedy, but I like to shoot.

Just put an order in with Bass Pro shops online. It'll be probably be backordered, but one day the FedEx guy comes and brings you ammo. Beats running all over town and finding nothing anyway. Their prices aren't outrageous. Btw... they charge shipping, but no tax. I guess the website is set up as a different business from the stores?
