  • This could be a slippery slope.  Especially a concern with long guns. If one drives a SUV or similar vehicle without a trunk this law may be hard to adhere to.  Going to the clays range or target range for rifle classes may put you in jeopardy.  Ammo etc must be kept from casual view.  Guess I have to carry a blanket.  My shotgun simply won't fit in my glove box.  But it does seem to allow for the vehicle to simply be locked and no container required for a long gun.  Handguns will have to be in a locked container evidently.

Maybe he should worry more about real criminals instead of regular people-

These putzes's are continually finding things to blame us with while completely ignoring the real criminals out there-

These idiots really get under my skin-they must just sit home and think of stupid things to make illegal-

If my car is locked it is now a secure container-unless it's broken into which now makes it a crime-against the person doing the breaking-not the vehicle owner-

Simpler solution, stop making people leave firearms when they should be carrying them.

still can be an issue with Federal buildings, courts, schools and posted property.

This is why they should change it to where the No Gun signage would have no force of law for folks with a permit...or at least with an "enhanced" permit.
