Anyone carrying a Glock 43X?

Strongly considering getting one for CCW. I currently have a G19 and S&W Bodyguard 2.0. The G19 feels too bulky much of the time and I'm not nearly as proficient shooting with the Bodyguard as I am with my G19 so I'm looking for the Goldilocks. Would love feedback on how it shoots.

Also, I have a Smith & Wesson M&P 9C that's virtually brand new that I'm looking to sell in order to pick up a G43X. Will be posting it in the classifieds soon.

I carried a 43x  for over 4 years.I’ve also carried a 19 for a while as well. The 43x is more comfortable to carry and handle than the 19.Downside to the 43x is less capacity unless you want to use aftermarket mags and increased recoil.

Have you looked at a 48?  It’s a 43X with a 4” barrel.  It’s essentially a 19 on slimfast and is better than a 19 or 43X IMO.

I have a little but I'm wondering if the grip will be a little too much for summer, as I wear shorts and t shirts. I'll definitely take look further though. Sounds very close to what I want. Thanks

I haven't. I'll have to take a look at that as well. Thanks

The 48 grip is the same as the 43X grip.

For what it's worth I have a G48 which is to me a slimmed down G19. I really like it and it shoots extremely well.

I carried the 48 for about a year. The trigger was hurting my index finger for some reason. They are nice being a Glock fan but I had to switch to another single stack 9.

Don’t think anyone can tell you what ccw arms is right for you. 43x is a well regarded model on a legendary platform

Personally, I lean towards the Sig p365.

Interesting. I have pretty long fingers so I'll consider that when looking at it. Thanks

Not a G43 but a I primarily carry a Shadow Systems CR920. Coming from the G19 platforms it is the ideal carry gun. Near same capacity but much easier to carry and conceal. Shootability is better for me than the G19.

I also carry a PSA Micro Dagger with the same results. Great choice.

I carry the 43X and really like how slim and light it is for the capacity it can carry. There are 15rd magazines from PSA (no modifications to gun required!) and Shield Arms (need to swap out magazine catch with a metal version.)

PSA DAGGER MICRO 9MM 15 ROUND MAGAZINE:

Shield Arms S15 Magazine Gen 3 - 15 Round Magazine for Glock® 43X/48:

(Note - Do NOT buy the "Pro-Mag" 15 rounders...they are highly unreliable.)

I have a Glock 19, but it feels noticeably thicker compared to the 43X. Great gun, but I'd rather carry the thinner/lighter 43X.

My 43X has been very reliable and surprisingly accurate. I'm impressed. Glock nailed it on size & grip-ability and the aftermarket came thru to bump up the capacity from 10 to 15 rounds.

My EDC is an Sig P-365 XL Spectre (non-comp) that I added a Macro grip module to. But I also have and like my Glock 43x that was customized by Shark Coast Tactical out of Florida.I've got several PSA 15 rounders for it. Beautiful gun, I’m just more used to carrying my Sig.

AS stated by a few others, the Shield Arms 15 round magazine set up makes a lighter and narrower carry gun with the capacity of a G19. I hardly notice it when carrying it. I believe it to be a smooth shooter, too.

I had one for a while. I couldn't shoot it well and I had an issue with a shield mag so I lost confidence in the setup. I sold it and got a Ruger Max 9. Much much happier.
