Custom Grips on my EMP by "Esmeralda"

I just wanted to let everyone know about a custom wood grip maker named "Esmeralda." She does some absolutely incredible and beautiful handmade grips for various types of guns, and at very reasonable prices too!

I just recently had her make a set of grips for my Springfield Armory EMP. I am thoroughly delighted with them! They are absolutely a work of art! She actually made two sets for me and let me choose the ones I liked best!

For anyone interested, Esmeralda's website is http://www.esmeralda.cc/

Here's a picture of my EMP with the new grips. They are made from Cocobolo wood, and have Celtic checkering with a Celtic cross. The pictures actually don't do them justice.....they are even prettier in person!!!

Here's a closeup of the grip panels:

Those look great. Is she finally making them for a direct fit now for the EMP? I have check with her in the past & said that you would most likely have to modify them a bit to fit the EMP. Those are the exact grips I wanted to purchase. There beautiful.

She does do great work. I had the same grips except on Ivory wood on the hi-power that magic now has. I really liked those grips.

I'm a big fan of Esmerelda. I have a set of her blonde coco bolo with the half checkering on my Colt Commander. I'm looking at a set of ebony with the Celtic design for my Kimber.

She told me that these were only the second pair of EMP grips that she had done. The lady that she did the first pair for actually sent her the original grips so she could see how they needed to be made. They were a perfect fit!

Like I said, she actually made two pair of these for me and let me choose.....so if you like these, she actually has (had?) another pair just like them. The only difference is the grain of the wood and the color is a tiny bit lighter. I had a VERY hard time choosing which pair I wanted, they were both gorgeous! They were only $89 too...$91 with shipping! :pleased:

Thanks to all for the nice comments! Make sure you tell Esmeralda that Tabitha highly recommended her if you order her grips! I told her that I would spread the word about her work. :shhh:

BTW, she has a 4-6 week waiting list on anything she doesn't have in stock. She doesn't charge you until they're ready to ship though.

I have bought 4 sets of grips from her, she is a lovely talented lady who makes some of the best 1911 grips on the Planet :hat:
