Should we be surprised??? 

I haven't heard anything of this young man's family except he has a sister who goes to JFK where my wife works. The fact that he was a student where she works is what gives me so much concern. I do know that he is mixed and wife believes he is part Indian. Obviously he was known to authorities to be a threat and why they were not monitoring him I cannot imagine. Am I surprised? Not in the least.

I have to add: all of the dems blaming the GOP for not negotiating should be publicly censured for using such tragic deaths for their own political ladder. Generalizing, it was liberal oversight that allowed a troubled teen to be in a public school unsupervised where he killed two young people. The edit: (Antioch) legislator that has been on channel 2 several times has yet to present a solution and has only tried to place blame. More laws will not deter the lawless actions of others.
