NEW: Smith & Wesson No Lock Classic Revolvers

MSRP is on the S&W website. 849 for the 36, 979 for the 10 and 1099 for the 19.聽 I'm glad to see new no locks but you can get dandy almost LNIB examples of all 3 of those guns for less than the MSRP. Hopefully street price is a bit lower and this is the beginning of the end for the lock

It's a start.聽 I'm actually kinda digging the Model 10 Classic with half-moon sight, tapered barrel, pre-war style ejector rod, and smooth stocks.聽 They are built on modern frames designed for the lock so they still look kinda goofy.聽

I won't be a customer, but glad they are making them for those interested.聽 Maybe it will start a trend of getting away from those locks.

I have a 610 and a model 686-6 + with locks-

I have had zero problems with either revolver and think I probably never will-

I haven't actually talked to anyone that's had a problem so I kind of wonder if the whole lock thing is because of some butt hurt over the S&W caving into the feds a couple of decades ago-
