AR pistol BUIS Sights and Other Accessories

I have an AR 10.5” 5.56 pistol in layaway and I’m looking for BUIS sights for it, that don’t break the bank. What are you suggestions?

Also what other accessories do you recommend? I’m thinking a foregrip.

I like these alot.... $ 110 clams...https://www.amazon.com/MEPROLIGHT-MEPRO-FRBS-Extremely-phosphorescentcolor/dp/B0B9KBKBJB

Stubby foregrip.... I like these...https://www.primaryarms.com/bcm-gunfighter-mod-3-vertical-grip-m-lok-black

Got almost your same setup with nothin but the meprolight irons n the stubby grip...

Optical sights are a waste of time on these.  Think about a good brace...

Just FYI, an AR Pistol needs an angled foregrip, otherwise it’s technically an AOW and requires a ($5) tax stamp and accompanying paperwork

Thanks for the info. 🙂 I’d to get sideways with an Alphabet Agency. Those idiots seem to change their minds like I change my underwear. 🙄

If you want folding sights, Magpul Pro are nice. For fixed, I like the scalarworks. You may want to start with he optic / optic height first though and make sure they are the right height for what you want

No kidding.

This one at least has been fairly constant. honestly, you’d probably be ok, but all it takes is a pissed off Fed or a crappy DA.

Not sure I’m adding an optic, but will keep that in mind.

If you aren’t using an optic, I’d suggest a fixed front sight at least. If you need it, you don’t want to forget to deploy the sights

Unless you just want iron sights, you can get a reliable red dot for around the same cost. I just recently saw the Holosun 403 red dot for <$100.

If you just want irons, than going fixed would make sense. You could even do a carry handle for the rea which sometimes looks cool.

That’s a great deal! I might change my thinking at that price!

What if I turned it 180 degrees and used it like Leroy does? I’d think that would be legal. But then again, who knows.

By definition, it would still be an angled grip, but it would just be up to how the ATF feels about it that day

If you aren't adding an optic of some sort I would go with the Daniel Defense fixed sights, reliable and very simple.

If you are adding a decent optic the Magpul BUIS are pretty cheap and dependable enough
