I can't believe no one has said Predator yet.

That movie still makes me want a portable Gatlin/minigun so bad I'd sell a car to get one (and it take more money that I'd get from either one!).

Oh yeah, and Big Jake! When they first fire the semi-auto, that was hysterical.

This one has my all-time favorite line:

"You must figure I'm a real dangerous man."

+ 1000 to anything with John Wayne in it

The interesting thing about the semi auto pistol in Big Jake was that is was refered to as a prototype of a Bergmann 1911. Whats odd is that Bergmann never made a 1911 and the pistol in this movie looked nothing like any of their other models. This led to speculation that a Mauser Broomhandle, with plates screwed on the sides, was substituted instead of the much more expensive Bergmann.

Not that I watch a lot of John Wayne movies or anything...

Predator- when Jesse "the-body" mows down the jungle with his minigun.

Pulp Fiction- The "Royal with cheese" scene. "Say what again, I dare ya!"

No Country for Old Men- anytime he uses that d@mn shotgun.

Also Lethal Weapon. Loved the pistol/revolver back and forth.

For TV shows, NCIS features some nice handguns from time to time - especially when Ziva gets to play around with them.

Gotta go with the downtown gun fight in Heat

And as far as an entire movie = Shoot em' Shoot; when you can combine a gun fight and a kick ass sex scene, you got Oscar material in my opinion....

I can't believe nobody has said Black Hawk Down yet. Ebr's, M249's Ak'47s...the list goes on and on. And some amazing firefights! :koolaid:

Red Dawn and The Bourne movies.

But more than anything I'm hooked on "24" this season, bad.

Gotta love that mini gun in the opening air assault. I do miss those days....:tough: You had the choice of 2000 or 4000 rounds per minute.

Yeah I got to fire one out of a Blackhawk out on range 29.

Made for a damn good time! :tough:

I feel ashamed I did not mention this movie :woohoo:

That is one of the best movies to watch with surround sound (that and Heat)

But I think as far as a "true gun" movie, Shoot em' Up is the winner. The whole movie was about guns and the gun industry. Sure, they tried to paint a bad light on it, but still, Monica Belluci + Guns = Win

Good, you should feel ashamed! :bored:

Not about forgetting BHD, but because you thought that shoot em' up was a good movie! :screwy:

I like realistic action I guess...to each their own. :woohoo:

I could see where one might think Shoot'em Up was anti-gun, but I tend to see it just as entertaining writing... and if we are to believe the gun indistry was the antagonist in the film, then certainly the anti-gun Senator was the protagonist, no? Oh, wait... he was, as one blogger quoted:

a baby-marrow harvester, slaughtering infants and their mothers to keep himself alive. Not a particularly sterling character and certainly not a "good guy."

Not to mention the big gun manufacturer in the film is in cahoots with government bureaucrats to crush his opposition and competition.

IMHO, it's just the classic tale of widespread corruption from the bottom to the top :woohoo:

I sympathized with the gun company in SEU, can't believe he shot those poor factory workers making all those beautiful guns...... :screwy:
