Remington Golden Bullets - NOT

Remington Golden Bullets, 36 gr HP, 1280 FPS, Lot#N07KB3

Picked up some on the 23rd, bucket of bullets, 1400 rounds.

I have had some good luck with this ammo before, not this time.

They load/feed, shoot and eject okay but I could not get a group out of them. Shooting at 30 yards, 10 or 15 round mags.

6 or 7 rounds would group at 2 inches then the other rounds would open up to 5 to 6 inches, no 2 rounds would hit anywhere near each other.

This is the worst 22lr ammo I have ever shot. Also, the ammo was extremely dirty. A few rounds sounded/felt under powered, not many.

All rounds fired on first try.

This from a modified Ruger 10/22, the same equipment will put 5 Aquila Extra Super into 1/2 inch or less at same range.

Very disappointed in the results.

Just a FYI from my experience today.

Probably just a bad batch.  I have some older Remy GBs that go bang every time in my Ruger 10/22.  and are reasonably clean.  CCI always puts a smile on my face and the Aguila Mexican food you mention performs as advertised usually.  So many 22lr makers put out good and bad fodder.  It's the old adage:  "You lay down your money and you make your choice."  🫤

I have had bad luck with the Golden Bullets in the past. Don't purchase them any longer. I had problems with misfires in 3 different guns.

I never have misfire issues.. it’s always accuracy/charge problems.

If you look in the box long enough you can find rounds that are crooked in the casings also.

I couldn't get them to cycle reliably from my Ruger Mark II or my S&W M&P 15-22. About every 5th or 6th round would bend like this going up the feed ramp. I don't recall what kind of accuracy they had to be honest because I rarely shot farther than the 50 ft targets.
