Oh cmon now were just being ridiculous aren't we? "Never"? Maybe not in the last four years, maybe not this year, but "Never"? Once the anointed superman is gone, we'll pick up a W sometime.

Quick story. In 2001 I was living in Seattle and working for Boeing. 9-11 had happened, Boeing was laying of 35,000 people, I hadn't seen the sun in like 60 days, and someone stole my car. Let's just say it was a bad time. Not much was going right and I was pretty down.

Then, in early December, Travis Stephens rushed 19 times for 226 yards and two touchdowns to lift 17-pt underdogs Tennessee to a 34-32 win, knocking Spurrier and the Gators out of the national title hunt! For the next few days after that, it didn't matter that it was cloudy, I had no car, and I was losing my job.

Of course then we blew it against LSU... but that's another story...
