Mauser 1924 300 savage

got a good deal on a pair of ar scopes and want to put one on this 300 savage but either the scope rings dont fit the rail or the rings aren't in line with tge rail and yhe scope

You have a short scope and a relatively long action. Offset ring are the simplest answer.

Another option would be to locate a picatinny rail type base for it, but it will look like crap, and you'll need to be able to measure the hole pattern drilled for the bases, and also be aware there is a difference in mounts for large and small ring actions. It gets pretty iffy. Again, offset rings are the best answer. That or a longer scope.

Did you turn them opposing directions? It doesn’t look like you need much to me.
