Hey All,

several people have recommended Shaddow Systems pistols to me. looking to see if anyone on here has one or has experience with them. Im all about paying for quality, and if its worth the price, ill jump on it. just dont wanna pay that kinda cash for something thats not worth it.

I have a CR War Poet and a MR. I had plenty of Glocks as well over the years too. Personally I like the Glock trigger better but overall the Shadow Systems fit me better. Both have Holosun dots as well. Close to 1000 rounds between the two and no issues.

I have the CR and MR and really like them. I much prefer them to Glocks. Usually with a Glock, by the time I got done with sights, triggers, optic, optic mount, extended controls, etc. I'm way over the Shadow Systems, that have a better optic mount, frame reliefs, and all the changes I wanted anyway. Plus, I think they look better, fit better, and shoot better.

I've had a lot of Glocks, mainly 19's, and would not complain having another one but the cost to value at the end of upgrades goes heavily to the Shadow Systems.

Got two of em... MR n CR.   The MR is the best Glock style pistol I've ever handled out of the box.   Trigger is good and the gun points naturally for me.

The CR is a great small gun, but the trigger in mine needed a 25 cent polish job.  It's now as good as any 43 I've handled, even with an Apex trigger.  I highly recommend em.

I use the 13 round mags in the CR.  They are plentiful and cheap direct from SS.  I highly recommend em n prefer em to " souped up " Glocks, no matter the flavor.

I've stood with Glocks for 20+ years. Still do. However, I feel these days with all the options out there, building your own is the best option. Sure ShadowSystems are good, Glocks are good, most all the Glock clones are good. For the same $ as buying one, building one get you what you want. 😉 Remember the biggest difference between them all is their frames. Find a frame you like and build the rest. JmO

I got rid of the last of my Glocks a couple years ago and replaced them with a DR, MR, and a CR for my wife. I feel like they are what Glock should have evolved into over the years. Their optics mounting solution blows Glock out of the water and is one of the best out there in my opinion. The only thing I wish was better is their triggers… they are no better or worse than Glocks. I have heavily modified and tricked out Glocks in the past, but for the money I think the SS stuff is the way to go for that platform.
