I am a Ruger fan also. I now have a Ruger Max 9 micro pistol. Love it for what it is. For me it is a pocket pistol with the flush mount magazine.

If I were in the market for a RXM size pistol I would not hesitate to purchase one after they have been on the market for a year. I never want to purchase a new pistol until Ruger has a chance to see if all is well and that takes a good year for them to show their warts, if any happen. I have never had a bad Ruger handgun or rifle.

Love my Max 9 as well. Great little gun. I like it much better than the 43x

Cannot believe there isn't a thread on here yet. I've been reading about this for a week now and put my hands on one locally today. I definitely think I'll be picking one up.

Immediate Pro's

  • "Glock 19 Gen 3"
  • Fire Control Insert (Really only a win if Full Size and Sub-Compact Grips hit the market soon at a great price)
  • Tritium-Front Site
  • TSP Textured Grip (Really nice)
  • Optics Ready
  • $399 +/- (Local shop has it for $399, GrabAGun has it for $369)

I don't know that this would replace a Glock 19 for carry anytime soon, but if it shows to be reliable and durable over time then I don't see why it couldn't.

Anyone bought one yet?

If this shows the long term reliability of the Glock 19, I think it's a worthy addition. As someone who has a permanent Glock bite scar, I appreciate the improved ergonomics and the factory RDS ability

I don’t get the point of the removable trigger module.  Everybody thought they were the future when Sig put it in the 320, but they seem kinda gimmicky to me.

I'm all over it...if and only if it allows me to mail order different grips and slides/barrels straight to my house.

In that case I'll gladly get one of these if it means I could throw a Sub-Compact frame on there with a Sub-Compact slide and also convert calibers. Being able to buy a "kit combo" for 9mm, .40, and .45 that includes a barrel, slide, and frame shipped to your house for about $200-$250 would be an amazing win.

One good thing about the RXM is for those who have a solder gun and like to stipple is that you ruin a $40 part and not the whole pistol.😉
