Silencer Assassination

IDK, Parking a car down the block heard three shots. I'd say that was score one for dropping suppressors from controlled if he did indeed have one. Walsh was speaking out of his third point of contact speculating the guy built his own pistol. Shooting happened in NYC where gun control is working so well. We will see how it shakes out. But we know the gun grabbers will never let a tragedy go without starting their trifling crap. I just don't see it gaining traction in this case anywhere but NYC.

Those facts don't matter, they will just say he had a silencer and committed a murder with it.  Having the most gun related murders in blue cities, mostly with pistols, hasn't stopped them from going after ARs.

Logic has never meant anything to gun control fools.  And this killer was a fool.  Didn't have his pistol properly set up and had to manually cycle the gun after each shot.  He probably watched too much internet fiction.

In my mind, the big hitter here ain't the silencer, it's the victim.  Whoever shot this guy had to either be hired by persons unknown, or he wuz doing a courtesy vermin reduction for an aggrieved party.

Either way, I find it interesting that there are folks out there that are hot enough to make the " healthcare business class " bleed.   If I wuz them, I would be very concerned.

I agree there are large piles of sewage in the health insurance industry but that doesn't justify execution.

I've threatened our insurer with a malpractice suite on occasion for denying my meds. When you have a doctor somewhere I've never been whom I've never seen nor spoken to deciding my doctor I see regularly doesn't know what I need, I consider that malpractice. The threat always gets approval within the day.

You don’t happen to use Tricare Express Scripts for your meds, do you?

These insurers use Utilization Management (UM) companies to save them money by doing exactly what you describe. The UM hires a doctor and statisticians to look at what the average patient in your situation needs. I've heard of them denying 24 PT visits and approving a re-evaluation after 10 or 12 visits, but I hadn't heard of them denying a prescription like that until now. That does sound like BS. Glad they caved in, but sorry you had to resort to threats. You're the customer and should be treated accordingly.

You should have been standing by when I had my second hernia repair. The surgeon called that one. I was supposed to be in prep when they decided I didn't need to stay in the hospital. Three of us on the phone giving them hell. I went outside to make my call so the intake people didn't have to hear me.
