Why sell such a great Rifle?

  • Honestly, I really don't want to sell this, especially after Colt discontinued the LE models. But, according to my wife, I have "too many guns". While I don't think you can ever have too many, I am running out of space in the two guns safes, and all my other rifles are SBRs that have been Form 1'd (so selling them is much more complicated). I'm sure I'll kick myself in 10 years looking back at this.

Looking for any trades?

  • Not currently, just cash.

What are your terms for sale?

  • Face-to-face sales only - facilitated in the Mount Juliet, TN police department headquarters parking lot designation for person-to-person exchanges.
    • This cuts down on scams and counterfeit cash deals.
  • Must have valid TN Carry Permit.
  • Must be legally allowed to purchase a firearm.
  • Cash only.
  • Email with any questions.

⚠️ Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers ⚠️

This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO.

  • Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with.   Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete.  Your experience will help others.

  • Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun!  None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction.  They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns.  DON'T DO IT.

  • Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO.  Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye.

Tasteful upgrades. Have you had a good experience with the RISE trigger?

I have, I run RISE triggers in all my builds these days (either the 140 or 242). The only one that didn't work well was a PCC 9mm trigger for an AR-9. But in the AR-15 builds, I've never had any issues.
