Dedicated .308 can, or multi cal?

I’m wanting to get a can for my 308 deer rifle, but contemplating on getting a multi cal can. Those with experience on both, what would you recommend?

It depends on your budget. I started off wanting one .30 cal. Now a suppressor gets budgeted for each rifle build. A dedicated can for that cal will always be quieter assuming equal quality suppressors. Other things come into play when you are considering a suppressor. What's the intended purpose. Things like size, weight, and flash signature. You may want titanium or stainless steel depending on your needs. Multi cal suppressors tend to be one of those things that do everything, but don't excell at any one thing.

Hard to beat a 30cal for your first can. I have run mine on 5.56 AR's, 6.5 Creedmoor, multiple 308's, and even my 300 winmag. I now have 5 cans, but don't regret starting off with the 30 cal.
