Me too, TV was on and I noticed music, and I thought well, what kind of award show is this.  Turned it off after realizing it was CMA without country music.  Why is it that they feel compelled to have non country artists on these shows?

I grew up on folks like Johnny, Merle, Waylon, Willie, Loretta and Tammy. Still love their stuff today. 

But I gave up on country music somewhere in the 90s. The stuff they make now sounds more like bad pop music. Country music has lost its soul.

Country music is alive and well. It just isn’t on tv or radio. If you do a bit of digging, you can uncover some very talented folks.

Today’s country music needs a complete redo. The Hag would not know what to think about it  Or be very Saddened

How many CMA type awards shows do they have a year now?  It being aired on a Wednesday night speaks volumes on this edition’s relevance.
