Let's see those back yard shooting ranges! I need some inspiration for my recently cleared out woods. Any issues to look out for? If you are shooting steel, where did you get it?

I’ve found this site to be the best. Small and vet owned, sends an email only once a week with something heavily discounted. I shop around a lot. Dragon targets has some decent deals every now and then. With all of this stuff getting free ship is the priority.

I have not yet bought this from Dragon Targets, looks fun and like the modularity  hoping it goes on sale for a holiday and then will buy (if you don’t care about buying “Halloween targets” for Christmas they’ll drop the price drastically after they do special runs).

I follow spec on all the ratings and my targets are all a few years old and no pitting. Just need to remind people not to shoot rimfires with anything but .22. I’ve had good luck with the self healing hangers and just use tposts. Have used conduit and tones scraps in a pinch but those are more temporary. People swear by fire hoses as well. Also stick welded some conduit just for s&g’s that are small ground level targets, rods I used weren’t right for application but have held.
