Desire for New Firearm

If you had the desire for a new firearm, be it rifle, shotgun, or handgun, what would it be? I have really been interested in the new Henry Pistol Caliber 9 MM carbine. It just looks like an interesting rifle to me. What would be your choice for a new firearm?

I'm wanting a optic cut usp compact in 9mm. The choice is tough, buy one already done or have one that i already own cut.? Still debating,  but watching for the right price.

Thanks for the replies guys. I had a S W SS Mdl 681 6 shot 4" Brl 38/357 Mag revolver that was my bedside go to revolver for things bumping in the night. I gave my grandson a choice of all my guns, so he wanted the 681, so I gave it to him. I really missed the revolver, afterwards, so I purchased a new 7 shot SS 686 + with a 3" brl last year. I have had it out on the range several times and really like it.

I have all the guns I need, but like many people, not all that I want. I looked at the 10 round magazine fed semiauto Henry Homestead 9 MM Carbine, a few weeks ago, at Outpost Armory. MY son in law really wants one bad. It was a little over 1,000.00 after taxes. I am just not sure I want to pay that much money for what I consider a novelty rifle.  The final thing is the 9 MM is not real potent, IMO. It would just be something to play with, IMO, but I like it also.

My kid joined a steel challenge team so I have been on the 10/22 learning curve and checking out some different makers. I have never owned one and never cared much for the design.. but the league doe not allow the S&W 15-22s which is what we have now.

I actually think I have all the guns that I want at the moment. Seems weird to even think that let alone type it. I’m at the point where I’m tired of cleaning and storing.

Casually looking for a stripped 10.5” upper just to mate with a spare lower, would trade a g20sf + ammo for a g40 for deer hunting provided Im confident I’d get an ethical shot.

Have my ideal shotgun setups for various things, couple pricey 9mm and cheaper striker fired, deer rifles for short or long setups, good pocket carry setup and happy with all my .22s. Think I’m well rounded and not much else I’d like to try out or upgrade to. Still don’t have a crazy expensive AR but I don’t shoot much 5.56.

If anything I’d just want to do a few direct mills or upgrade optics and a trigger install here and there. I guess I’m content for the moment and it feels good.
