Czech Vz-24 Rifle in 8mm Mauser

For Sale: Czech Vz-24 Rifle in 8mm

I got this rifle as a barreled action from a gunsmith who, sadly, is no longer with us (same guy I got the other one from). He did work on the bolt and the receiver and this thing is smooth as butter. I tracked down a stock and various missing parts to restore this rifle to its former glory. Rifle is in great shape and even has the front sight protector. Would make a good entry level rifle for an aspiring milsurp collector. Rifle has its bayonet lug and sling mounts.

Asking 450. Would consider trades (or trades + cash) for .32ACP pistols, SxS or O/U shotguns in 12ga*, or a lever action in .357MAG

*modern only, no Damascus barrels

⚠️ Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers ⚠️

This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO.

  • Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with.   Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete.  Your experience will help others.

  • Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun!  None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction.  They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns.  DON'T DO IT.

  • Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO.  Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye.

As far as I know that GR should have Romanian crest on the receiver . Is it still present ? Or grounded off at some point ?

No crest on this one. It's not ground off, but rather it was never there.

The other one I had for sale, the barreled action, had a crest on it that was badly worn (but still mostly visible)
