Had the chance to stop by Benton Shooters Supply and I was very disappointed to say the least.

1st. they had 4 LCP's in stock, "holding" them for someone. Told me if they were for sale it would be $400.00 +tax and tics.

2nd. They would not tell me where on their waiting list I was for my LCP (I already got mine but my son wants one).

3rd 1000 round case of Wolf 7.62, nearly 400.00:eek:

The only reason I stopped was to stretch my legs for a min. I have vowed never to step foot inside of that store again.

All their ammo was over priced and they even had a S&W M&P 45, all black, used, for $550.00. You have got to be kidding me.

I can't believe they would try and gouge someone that bad.

$400 for a LCP, plus tax plus tic = $450 gun.

A year ago my LCP plus shipping plus FFL was $290

Gouging/inflation sucks.

That 1000 rounds sucks. Place sounds shady regardless, I don't blame you for staying away

No worries. I need to re-tool the Newsworthy Reports forum since it's sort of overlapped by a few other forums here. My original intent was for it to become sort of an Armed Citizen type of thing with news about folks defending themselves.
