What do you guys use??

The main features I would like to find is a one touch recording button that could activate it in my pocket without a lot of fumbling around.

Rechargeable batteries would be nice. And obviously the ability to download to a computer.

I looked at these briefly and the specs on the $49 ones don’t look a whole lot different than the $199 ones.

;)

Sony ICD-P620, works well with a PC, not with a mac though. (Which Pissed me off.)

Records into a special format, with a PC you can download the software to convert it to wav, mp3 etc. Recordes pretty well, holds a large amount.

I have a Verizon enV2 cellphone, you can set it to record for up to an hour. It works the best. No one notices a cellphone anymore, and you can look like your setting the ringer off. Laying it on a table with your keys draws practically no attention. You can upload the file then convert it free on the web to wav, or mp3.

I had a need this year for a recording device and posted on here. Search for my post and you might find some more info on others people suggested.
