Those M-1 Garands might be a good price, didn't see much else pop out as a great deal. Thanks for the heads up

Hi-points are quality guns, well worth the $300 price tag they hav.... hahah who am I kidding

Well, you weren't looking at the April 28th classifieds. I see there a HiPoint .45 for $200 (including a laser scope); and a HiPoint in 9mm for $165; and another HiPoint .45 for $195. Considering the lifetime warranty, and no tax, and no background check fee, those prices aren't too bad.

if anyone wants a throw away gun, there you go. i dont think id want to shoot one of those cheap hi points. i think i would be better off with vice grips, one round of my ammo and a rock hammer to ignite the primer.

Maybe you should try out a Hi Point before you judge, CadillacDude. Yes, they are cheap and ugly and heavy. They are also one of the more accurate guns around when they have been broken in. Until you have 500+ rounds through them they will jam - after that they are great guns, especially for the price.

That hasn't been my experience. I bought a Hi Point on a whim. It's not going to replace my SIG or my Hi Power, but the damned thing has gone bang every single time and has been fairly accurate to boot.

Heck yes!!

If you are going to buy bottom feeders, no need to buy foreign bottom feeders when you can buy American made bottom feeders that are just as good. ;)

The old HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED died so I was next in line for the position ;)

A few years back I remember reading about some ranges that wouldn't allow Hi-points to be used, something about risk of them basically falling apart and sending parts flying /shrug

You are talking about a hi-point right?;)

Maybe there is confusion between "hi-point" and "[browning] hi-power"

I agree @ $200 good price, but paying 50% over msrp:screwy:

These days of high prices, there are some who can only afford a 9mm HiPoint. It's not fancy, and not for ccw, but it will do for home defense. (If you can find some ammo!)
