Why not more open carry?

I saw 2 guys open carrying over the last couple of months. 1 was at Sams, it was busy and i was not in a hurry so i covertly watched to see how people reacted. Guess what? nothing, no one even looked. No one stared, no one gasp as he walked by, no one went screaming from the store. It was no difference than if he was not carrying at all. Good for him.

So 45 guy what did you expect? Immediate cowering, run out of the store screaming?  Do you know what ran through others mind? Did they shorten their shopping?  No different if I see someone with what I deem to be an offensive T-shirt or other clothing.  It reinforces my thoughts/opinions but it doesn’t change my mind and influences the way I may vote.

Reading this was great entertainment.  As always I don't care how you carry, it's about the person.  Are you responsible, do you train, do you have proper equipment. I see concealed carriers that do it wrong, as well as open carriers.  I shake my head at both.  If you are aware, and you should be I'd bet you can guess who's carrying.  I do both and yes I have a retention holster(level 2) for open carry, id say 85% I conceal carry.  Carry how you want, don't judge those that do it differently then you.  Do I recommend someone have an cheap unreliable firearm no, but if that's what they can afford I get it.  I hate the way my wife shoots, but it works for her and she hits.  Anyone who say their way is the only way, good luck.

 Maybe not here, but in CA, NY, MA, CT I bet that would happen-lol.

Actually a buddy used to open carry in CT, more than once when he was in a grocery store someone would call the PD.

OMG someone has a gun! Lets call people that open carry about someone open carrying. That would be funny if it was not so true.
