CZ75 9mm Compact Sale or Trade Nashville Area

Recommended Posts

$700 Sale or Trade Value / CZ75 Compact / 9mm / No Rail / CZ Custom trigger / CZ Custom aluminum thin grips / 3 dot white sites / 4 magazines / 1 unknown brand plastic holster and one Fobus (I think)

This is one of a couple of pistols I purchased from member Steelharp (may he rest in peace).  It has sat in my collection for many years because I really wanted it and it's a phenomenal shooter, but I just don't like the way it fits my hand.

Per Steelharp this CZ75 was a double action model that he sent to CZ Custom to have a single action trigger / safety / hammer installed and CZ Custom aluminum thin grips. (See edit)

There is an odd blemish on one side that I've circled in red.

Trades:

While there are so many things I'd rather trade for, I want / need to change my work pistol.  I am primarily looking for a S&W M&P45 compact 2.0 (thumb safety preferred), but would also consider a S&W M&P9 2.0 full size (4.25") optic ready (thumb safety also preferred).  I am willing to trade up or down depending on accessories (lights, mags, optics, ect...).

My current schedule is evenings so I likely won't be able to respond until the following day.

Great question!  It’s SAO in that once you rack one in the chamber you are cocked and locked.  There is no decocker.

It does function as a DA trigger in that pulling the trigger runs the hammer each pull.

If you wanted to run this pistol in double action you would have to chamber a round and then manually lower the hammer on a live round (I’m not comfortable with this method) and then use the safety or not.

That sounds like it is a tradional DA/SA. I have the same gun and that is what it sounds like to me.

Interesting!  Yours doesn’t have a decocker either?

This is my first CZ and only CZ so I’m not familiar with the function of their other pistols.

I have a CZ 75 Compact as well and it is a DA/SA with a manual locked and cocked safety. The decocker is part of the D PCR Compact model I believe.

Fascinating!  So would this likely be more of a “upgraded” trigger from CZ Custom?

I would imagine so. Mine is bone stock so naturally I haven't had it serviced beyond just a normal field strip cleaning. I don't have a trigger weight measuring tool so I'm going to have to use what's documented online. According to guntoters website it states 5lbs. 4.3oz single action and 11lbs. 0.7oz double action. I would imagine that is correct because the double action is quite the pull.
