This Vol fan is mighty anxious right now.

I pretty much stay in DEFCON 2 as a Vols fan.

A LOT of brown liquor required to take the edge off.

The Vols are not out of it. Just have a harder road to travel now.

Did anyone really believe that the Dawgs would loose two in a row?

Now, if Vandy can just do their job on the 30th, it will be lights out for the Vols.

(y’all know I’m a Vandy fan)

Not officially, but they don't control their destiny now.  Way too many two win teams than playoff spots.

Why the F is Alabama, who lost to Vandy and Tennessee, ahead of Tennessee in the AP top 25?

Alabama best Georgia and LSU.  Tennessee's loss to Arkansas combined with a weak showing against Florida are being held against them I'd guess.

Will be interesting to see where the CFP sorts this out for the week.

Bama has long received a little extra in their ratings because of their history. Of course they've fielded great teams for a very long time, but rightly or wrongly, their tradition carries some weight with the voters.

It's still that way in today's list.

Not sure who came up with that mess.

Yeah I think that’s reality.

Who’s played the tougher schedule this far?

Ole Miss especially and Indiana to a degree both helped Tennessee when it comes to rankings today.  Billy Napier probably salvaged some reputation too.

I’m not overly thrilled that Ole Miss lost and Florida won, but it was best for “the cause”, lol.

Both loses helped the Vols. Glad old miss lost still hate Lane Kiffen more than I do Florida.

I got over hating Kiffin years ago.  He’s done great things at Ole Miss and I’ve always been a Rebels fan.

Hopefully, if Bama loses, that helps the Vols as well. They need to be securely ranked when Vandy beats them next week. Lol

Didn’t know that Alabama getting handled by Oklahoma was on today’s college football bingo card.  😀

Deboer doesn’t understand the concept of using  his stud running backs in the SEC.

I doubt he has to worry about that much longer.  Bama losing three conference games has got to be a sure escort to the door.

I’d like to see Kiffin eventually get the position. Sark would be my first choice, but  he is perfectly settled at Texas.

Bama fans should have known this season was going to be a failure when the players were bragging about how much fun they were having in camp and how laid back things were. It’s going to take a lot to come back from this disaster, and I doubt Deboer can get it done.

With Ole Miss, Alabama, and Colorado all taking an L this weekend, the real winner is Paul Finebaum with all the content in the world to talk about. 😁
