Driving to Chatt for the weekend. Any must see gun shops? Mostly into mil surps, com block, and the related accessories and parts.

Going to leave there and head up around Gatlinburg to the hap then back towards home in the Clarksville area so anything along that route as well.

You must see GT Distributors. They close at 4pm on Saturdays. Unfortunately they are closed this Saturday for Labor Day weekend.

Disclaimer, they are in Rossville, GA so if you plan on purchasing a handgun there is that additional step. I suspect they should sale long guns as expected.

Shooters Supply in Hixson, Montlake Freedom Works in Red Bank.  Both have interesting used guns, including milsurp.

Anthony's Armory, also in Red Bank, usually has some interesting consignment items but they're seldom open on Saturdays.

Cheers,

They transfer handguns to the back of their building. They are in Georgia and Tennessee; all in the same building. Advantage is paying GA 7% sales tax.

Has it always been like that? I didn't think that used to be the case? Did they move buildings?

The added on to the building in about 2019, and you walk into the TN room to do the transfer. There is a “welcome to TN” sign over the door.

Well I certainly guess they know what they  are doing. It's been 10+ years since I've been there.
