Anybody watch GI Joe on cartoon network tonight? Grew up on the 2nd generation stuff. New generation is sweet!!!

Man, my GI Joes were about a foot tall! With .45's, Garands and grenades, they were proper action figures. Had a Submarine that would take up the whole bathtub and a hang-glider with like a 5' wing spang. Plus a bunch of other crap.

Cartoons? Are you serious? :D

Very serious, I don't play when it comes to my cartoons. LOL I remember as a kid my dad showing me what he did to my uncles Gi Joe figure. He took a cigarette lighter and gave my uncles GI Joe a black eye.

If it wasn't for GI Joe, I probably would of never gotten into firearms or scouts for that matter. So yeah, cartoons are awesome!

I had the old version, too. The ones that were bigger and had the cool accessories. I got the one with the "kung fu grip" for Christmas one year. Sweet!

I was obsessed with GI Joe back in the day. I guess starting around '82-83?

The new movie coming out actually looks pretty good (at least from the trailer).

Storm Shadow rules, Snake Eyes drools.....

Hey they make life size dolls that are incredible looking. Anybody outthere lonely should invest in one.

This was one of my old room mates, after he popped it we hung it up for everyone to see. (Even though "she" is wearing a swimsuit, I put it as a link not a picture for a reason)

GI Joe went downhill once the enemy for Joe stopped being krauts and japs.

Heck, GI Joe battling Cobra may have been the beginning of political correctness.

Aside from them downsizing the guy he was not near as cool when he became some kind of world policeman.
