And then asked them to set limits? The WM's that I have been to that limit are at two boxes and five boxes. Thanks.

I said they were going to take a look at that....the WM I went to wasnt in Knox Co...

Which walmart is doing the limits that you have been to, Suntzu?

Clinton Hwy. had a two box limit, then switched to five, according to someone on here I thought (Mike?). The other was the Maryville store, but that depends on who I get there. One lady sold me all I wanted, one guy told me they were only selling two boxes per customer, but I got the lady the next time around and she sold me four boxes of .22LR. Therefore, I don't think its company policy at that store, but depends on who you get. That, or the lady doesn't care, which is fine by me.

Wow...32.50/500.

I assume this was a cut above the Thunderbolt/Golden Bullet/Xpert bulk packs?

Well, that's normal price for the CCI MiniMags.

Most of us are used to buying 500/550 bricks or bulk packs for 19-20 bucks for plinking.

Which were 12-14 bucks a year ago.

If its all you can get your hands on, then get it. I bought my last bulk pack from the WM at Walker Springs almost three months ago. I haven't seen CCI Minimags there in ages, either, but that is what I've been buying for the 10/22.

So many people buying up ammo, that when a house goes up, it might sound like....POPCORN!

I have not encountered any Walmarts that are rationing ammo.

I wish they would all do a 2 box limit on centerfire and bulk .22 lr.

If nothing else it would allow more people to get something anyway. Its the only way I see this drought easing off for a long long time.

This is a cool thread. A few months ago when it became obvious that "the one" would take the stage, my son called from the left coast and asked if I needed any 7.62 x 39 - well sure - how much - well how much were you thinking? Son : well, I'm down to my last 20,000 round of 7.62 and my last 5000 of 8 mm - so I'm thinking 10 - 20 k rounds - I got some, but not nearly what he bought.

All he has in his garage is guns and ammo - no cars, no junk, guns and ammo.

Did I mention that I love my son?
