Well, I'm officially broke as a joke....damn you Smyrna Gun Show!

After posting a thread a few days ago asking opinions on it, I found a good deal on one there and couldn't pass it up. I'll be going to the range tomorrow to test it out. I love the ergo's.

Here's a few pics (my finger is pointing at the flip out grip extender)

Very nice. Are by chance going to stones river tomorrow?

I think so, I'll probably go at 1pm, depends on if I have any "honey-do's/don'ts"

Looks sweet...how thick is it?

It's almost identical in size/thickness/etc to the XD9 Sub-Compact, w/ the G26 being a tad bit smaller. Here are the official dimensions:

Length: 6.2"

Height: 4.8"

Width: 1.4"

Weight: 26.1oz w/o magazine (though to me, it feels lighter than the XD9 SC)

As comparison, here's how the Glock 26 and Springfield Armory XD9 SC stand up:

Glock 26

Length: 6.29"

Height: 4.17"

Width: 1.18"

Weight: 19.75oz w/o magazine

XD9 Sub-Compact

Length: 6.3"

Height: 4.2"

Width: 1.2"

Weight: 20oz w/o magazine

I've handled all the models (shot the XD9), and the Px4 just felt better in my hand. I couldn't really tell a difference as far as weight b/t each model. The only problem is I'll need to find another leather holster, as the one I use for my Glock 32 won't work b/c of the safety latches on the slide, they keep the fun fron sliding all the way into the holster. I've got a Mike's one that works good, but I still prefer a leather IWB.

I know, I know, but it just feels lighter.....

Heading to Stones River, I'll be in a blue t-shirt and khaki shorts if anyone wants to try it out. Probably be there from 1-230ish

Just got back a bit ago, it shot great. Very smooth, not much recoil, and extremely accurate. Ran about 150 rounds through it and only had one "Failure to Feed". Was using Blazer Brass so it could have been the ammo.

Overall I'm extremely impressed with it, and came away happy that I made the "impulse buy" on the spot.

You know, the more I look at this, the more I am liking it...looked kind of blocky and futuristic to me at first, but reviews seem to be extremely favorable. I thought I was sold on an M&Pc, but now I don't know anymore.

:D

Yeah, I was just like you, and actually went to the show hoping to find a good deal on an XD9 SC, and after seeing and holding one of these, it changed my mind on the spot. I was looking at it and another guy came up looking for an XD9 and saw that and starting asking questions about it, after he held it he was in the same boat as me.
