The '21 and older Tundras are good as far as I've heard. Dad's 2016 has been trouble free (except for that dang deer!).

I do love the Tundras for sure. I still wish I could find a low mileage, about 2018 and up Tundra I could afford.

That is a really good looking truck. I thought I would hate that cement color when it came out but I have started to really like it.

That's where ford F"ed" up, V6 everything and put a turbo on it, they say more HP more torque, right right, my DD is a 2013 raptor with 400HP, 6.2L/6speed with 113k and have had zero problems (whoaist me 15mpg), let me install a turbo or supercharger and I'll get 650+HP, I'll gladly take 12+/-mpg and still have zero motor or tranny issues.

I will say that my 2022 Tacoma 2wd with 4 doors , automatic transmission and the 2.7 engine was $28,800 out the door. The same package now is $35,700.  Going up over $7,000 in just 2 years is unreal ! Well not the same engine , but the NEW engine. The 2 original engines , the V6 and 4 cyl,  were very reliable. Still , that is an unreal jump in price for a basic "plain jane" vehicle.

Guess I'll never own a Sierra.

No joke! I was riding in my wife's car one day and she saw me staring at this dealer lifted gmc truck on my phone. Good looking truck but I was staring at it because I was trying to wrap my head around the fact that this truck was priced at $117,000.

regular raptor v6, 78k+, 37 model 95k+, R model v8 120k+ @ msrp and 25k or more dealer markup, local dealer sold one few weeks ago at 142k

I drive past a Dodge dealer when I go to the office. Can't fathom what the custom painted lifted extended cab new Ram would have on the window. @Johnny Rotten must be single. LOL

I feel your pain.  I too am looking to replace a decent 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 with a new truck.  The new Tacoma is too small, so is the Nissan Titan.  The Dodge screwed themselves by getting rid of the Hemi and the dang dash mounted transmission selector.

GM has its issues with their engines and Toyota has been detonating their engines with bad main bearings and left over junk in the engine block.

I'm really looking at the Ford 3.5L Eco Boost.  Great numbers for HP and torque and most of the dealers are giving a lifetime drivetrain warranty.
