Does the media not have a responsibility to at least attempt to get the facts straight? Would a fact checker not call the NRA on that 82% number?

34 people killed a day. The national safety council put that number out. The mayor added “Almost all with illegal handguns.” That’s mayor… get a clue.

I am a former Police Officer and I have an idea on how to deal with the problem of cops being out gunned. But someone please tell me how outlawing firearms will do that. Will it work the same as outlawing drugs?

which is exactly what happened with full auto weapons. not enough people coplained and they were banned. now it's "Assault weapons" and "saturday night specials"..
