Shooting at Trump rally?

Message added by Chucktshoes,

From here on forward, let’s refrain from making denigrating statements like “your TDS is showing.” or “MAGA is a cult!” It doesn’t further any actual conversation or understanding. It only hardens battle lines. Appreciate in advance the cooperation.

The problem is you're reading what the whackadoodles on livestreams and social media are saying.  😄

Don't pay attention to the comments on live streams.  Those are lonely weirdos whose own families won't even talk to them anymore.  😄

I only stream Trump on RSBN. These individuals are definitely Trumps base.  As for the whackadoodles, I honestly can’t tell the difference between the commenters on YT and the politicians.

If you’ll make some suggestions as to who I should be listening to or viewing concerning Trump, I’ll attempt to give an honest effort and listen to them. I no longer watch any cable news, except breaking news.

If you kept an open mind, I would suggest Tucker, Bongino I think would be too brash for you but he does put out some great info and has a bunch of inside people giving him a bunch of intel.  Tucker asks some great questions and actually listens more than talks with most guests.

All of the things you mentioned would outstanding, if Trump can achieve them. While he’s at it, I’d like him to push unity among Americans. Because Americans disagree on who should lead the nation, doesn’t mean we need to hate one another. There are billions of people outside of our borders already doing that.

Deity may or may not be a stretch. I formed that opinion based upon reading many thousands of comments during live streams.

Also, a stronger America, is an inclusive America.

This is gonna blow your mind! It did mine. You and I want the same damned things!!!! Perhaps we simply have differing views on how to best accomplish them?

I can't see Trump as the anti-christ either.

It took some time, but I got over this manner of thinking about Trump. 😂

MSNBC and Foxnews reports both slamming the security teams with their "experts". Gumaker stocks rose today. Whether anything will become of either remains to be seen.

I have drastically reduced my inventory of guns and ammo, and I still think I have too much. However, with the new panic about to begin, I think I’ll let the dust settle again.

I can get behind this. I don't mean compromising on beliefs either, because there are some conservative stances I don't want to bend on (2A being the obvious since we're on TGO). But we need to find some way for either party to agree that America must remain united and strong. Sounds easy right?

The politicians have to have a boogeyman for some of their constituents, and based upon one’s beliefs and experiences, lots of people are easy pickings.  I don’t want us to have another 9/11 before we are united as a country again.

This 100%. The guy puts on pants just like i do every day.

Another strong point I will make is that he's not claiming deity either. I'm of a mind that if he did, he would see a MASSIVE drop in popularity. The biggest drop anyone has ever seen..... (see what i did there?)

He did once say “I am the chosen one”, then looked upward.

I knew there was Trump merch, didn't realize there were retail stores. DJT came from business where self promotion was common. this just goes with image over substance I referred to before. He knows that there is no such thing as bad publicity. the mor oyu get your name out the more votes you are liable to get. Why not sell that and make more capitol to produce more publicity. It's marketing genius used by everyone inbusiness.

Yep, you can get a cancelled two dollar bill with Trumps picture on it for only $19.99.  The guy is a marketing genius. That’s part of the reason I doubt there is anything sincere about him.

I get some weird impression that you cool af to hang out with and I'd only disagree with 5% of your beliefs. That 5% though...LOL

I don’t gamble. It’s not an activity I enjoy at all. Yet I would put hard money on this being the case.

If he came from a trailer park last week, I might buy that.  But a billionaire doesn't need t-shirt revenue.  He could drop out of the race and go play golf and many of his problems would go away, but he doesn't.

That's about where I am. And, he would probably make me get rid of my hat 🙂 . Maybe we could just talk gun stuff like we used to.

I’ve listened to both and I can take Tucker more easily than Bongino.  Tucker knows the art of interviewing. IMO Bongino appears to intentionally be inflammatory.  You’re right, with Bongino’s background and access, he shouldn’t have to talk with veins in his forehead to make his point. I guess I’ll give them both another chance.

I’m serious about not being interested in the news anymore.  I attempt to have a clear and peaceful mind on a daily basis.  All the biased “news” ruins that goal.  I now fill that time swimming three days a week, flight sims, reading random stuff and watching almost anything until college football kicks off.

I’ve only done it twice. I don’t know how to really describe it other than I just felt icky at the casino.

Like some here, I’m not a people person.  That would be my wife, but for some strange reason, people tend to gravitate towards me. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I don’t gamble either. I lost $100 in Tunica years ago before playing a round of golf.  You would have thought I lost my home.

I get where you’re coming from, but notoriety and fame appear to be drugs for the man. For someone with those traits and the benefits of having always had money, the presidency is the new hot chick for him. Not to mention the perks of being in the company of other world leaders.

We could talk about anything after you remove that hat. You won’t have me on “Black Twitter” looking like an ally. 😀

There is always a 2-3 hour lead up to his speeches, and the network does a split screen each time selling Trump merch.  That’s not normal for someone who is supposed to be serving the people.

I believe human history shows that God let’s things play out. Otherwise why didn’t he make the Covenant  shooter have a car wreck on the way to school that day. Or give Hitler a heart attack. Or was it Devine Intervention that saved Hitler from the bomb blast? If so, why?  Why not intervene with any other ruthless dictator that murders millions. Or a serial killers, etc.

We should not question God.

I will wear mine in Public as much as I can, not worried.

He was already famous and now people are shooting him.  I think the Bibles and goofy shoes and cards are him stroking his ego OR he just thinks they are funny as hell.  I could probably be convinced either way.  I haven't bought anything, BTW.

Bongino is the shock-jock of the conservative mediascape.  Like others said, he does often seem to receive good intel from his sources, but listening to him fatigues me.  I just can't stand being constantly yelled at and someone set Dan's volume knob at 11 and ripped it off.

I need him in very small doses.

I used to go to Vegas for a week every year. I have probably only gambled 4 or 5 times, and it was all machines. I hit all the other vices hard. By the time I got around to gambling, I was out of steam.
