General comments:

I’m new to this forum, refer to my Newbee introduction.  I read through most of the FAQ’s on posting classifieds.  I’ve been collecting guns for over 20years and its time to sell.  Feel free to DM me with questions or want to talk over the phone ( message your phone number), I like to do business the old fashioned way.  I have fair size collection and only post a few pics in the classifieds, if you need any specific picture or information feel free to contact me.  Most of the guns I’ve bought I never end up shooting, goes into the safe, so I’m not very knowledgeable of the current pricing trends.  My ask prices are mostly based on comparable(s) on gunbroker or other resources on the web. So I’m not going to be offended by comments on my pricing or knowledge of the guns.  Are prices negotiable?  Absolutely within reason.

⚠️ Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers ⚠️

This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO.

  • Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with.   Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete.  Your experience will help others.

  • Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun!  None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction.  They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns.  DON'T DO IT.

  • Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO.  Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye.

Pardon my ignorance, didn't know Pythons we on the short list in CA.

It is not ignorance. I bet most people don’t realize how restrictive CA is on what you can have shipped in. I am on the Colt forum a lot. That’s the only reason I knew that.

Hello, I have viewed with intense interest your posting and was wondering if you might know the following. Has the cylinder star  been refinished? I am just looking at the star and it appears to be blue compared to a more raw finish. See both photos attached.? Thank you

I don't believe it the barrel was finished.  I acquired the guns and never done anything to it and never been shot.  What you may be seeing is just the shadow (lack of lighting) in the picture.  Let me take some more pictures of it in daylight to confirm.  I honestly don't know if barrels are blued with the star.
